"Sports aren't just games to win to me. It's how God revealed himself and deepened my authentic relationship with him.  Now sport is a vital component and mission field to fulfill my destiny as a man and leave a legacy that points to Christ. I get to take in all the mistakes in my athletic career, crystalize that knowledge into wisdom, and leverage it to impact and influence positive change in the next generation of athletes pursuing athletic excellence as a living worship to the Most High and a source of fun in life.

My perpetual goal is to systemize my biblical, scientific, and experiential learnings alongside other coaches in a way that glorifies God and serves the greatest good of the athletes under my care as a Performance Coach."

Training Philosophy and Principles

We train the body as a temple, not an idol. Sports is a classroom for character, discipline, and dominion. We steward our physical gifts to compete with integrity, develop Christlike toughness, and lead with humility.

Our Guiding Principles

  • Christ-Centered Identity: We train and lead from love, Not for love. Our Eternal Identity is of greater importance than temporary outcome. (Romans 5:1, Philippians 3:14)

  • Purposeful Discipline:  Every rep is worship; every training session, a refining fire. (Hebrews 12:11, 1 Timothy 4:8)

  • Train the Complete Athlete: Spirit, soul, and body—heart, mind, and will integrated for Kingdom impact. (1 Corinthians 6:19, 1 Thessalonians 5:23)

  • Master Movement Literacy: We help athletes establish and maintain a foundation of movement competency through general, sport-specific, and position-specific movement patterns—building a lifelong movement vocabulary for athletic success. (Colossians 3:23)

  • Build Joint Integrity as Structural Athletic Foundation: Mobility + stability = structural balance, efficiency & durability. (Proverbs 10:4)

  • Progressively Develop Physiological Capacity: â€‹Phase-based speed, power & injury-resilience programming tailored to each athlete delivered through GD|PERFORM Football Performance Training System. (1 Timothy 4:7–8)

  • Sport and Position-Specific Mastery: Translate training into game-day excellence through intentional progressions. (1 Corinthians 9:24)

  • Train with Structure and Purpose: Repeatable, evidence-based systems ensure consistent, measurable, scalable results. (Luke 14:28)

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Let objective metrics and practical experience—not ego or trend—guide our adjustments and improvements. (Proverbs 2:6)

  • Offer Training Environments That Fit: Whether in big groups or small group settings, we create environments that challenge, inspire, and build camaraderie. (Proverbs 27:17)

  • Build Community Through Sport: Beyond reps and sets, we cultivate a culture of encouragement, accountability, and transformation. (1 Thessalonians 5:11)

By aligning every drill, every workout, and every play with these Christ-honoring principles, we equip athletes not just to win games—but to flourish as Kingdom-minded leaders on and off the field.

Athletic Fitness Training Philosophy

At GD|Perform, we believe true athletic excellence springs from developing the whole athlete—mind, body, and soul—and stewarding their relationships with God and others. Scripture reminds us we were created to connect, grow, and compete with purpose. Our core training principles reflect this complete-athlete vision:

Our Guiding Principles

  • Train the Complete Athlete: We cultivate athletes inside-out—spiritually anchored, mentally sharp, emotionally resilient, and physically prepared—so every aspect of our being glorifies God in sport. (1 Thessalonians 5:23, Romans 12:1)

  • Master Movement Literacy: We build a foundation of general, sport-specific, and position-specific movement patterns—establishing a lifelong vocabulary for safe, efficient, and powerful athletic expression.(Hebrews 12:11)

  • Build Joint Integrity as Structural Athletic Foundation: By emphasizing both mobility and stability at every joint, we ensure structural balance, injury prevention, and the durability needed for a lifetime of performance. (1 Corinthians 6:19–20)

  • Progressively Develop Physiological Capacity: Through phase-based programming, we systematically enhance speed, power, endurance, and resilience, tailoring each progression to the athlete’s sport and position. (1 Timothy 4:8, 2 Samuel 2:18)

  • Progressively Develop Sport & Position-Specific Skills: We drive skill acquisition and mastery via intentional progressions and feedback loops—translating every rep into reliable game-day performance. (2 Timothy 2:15)

  • Train with Structure and Purpose: Our systems are evidence-based, repeatable, and measurable—ensuring that each session has a clear objective and contributes to long-term growth. (1 Corinthians 14:40)

  • Make Data-Driven Training Decisions: We rely on objective metrics—not emotion or trends—to adapt programming in real time and optimize every training outcome. (Proverbs 20:18)

  • Offer Training Environments That Fit: Whether in large teams or small-group pods, we craft settings that challenge, inspire, and foster accountability and camaraderie.(Ecclesiastes 4:9–10, Proverbs 27:17)

  • Build Community Through Sport: Beyond reps and drills, we nurture a culture of encouragement and transformation—where every athlete is both disciple and disciple-maker, growing together in faith and performance. (Hebrews 10:24–25)
